1~ adjourned regular meeting, june 29, 1964, page two The Mayor reported on the results of Alderman Ruiz' conference with Tax Attorney Brooks Holman. The Memorandum Agreement signed by Mr. Holman on June 25, 1964, is attached as a part of the Minutes, in accordance with the Mayor's instructions. The Mayor recognized Don R. Uzzell from the floor. Mr. Uzzell brou~ht to the attention of the Council the questionable legality of the "Reserved" spaces at the Administrative Building of San Marcos Academy, on Academy Street. The Mayor informed Mr. Uzzell that the study of the parking on Academy street had been turned over to the Traffic Commission appointed by the Council. I James L. Ford was recognized from the floor. He brought to the atten- tion of the Council a drainage problem on his property at 416 Moore street, and his mother's property at 418 Moore. He stated he was willing to deed an easement to the City, if it would ensure proper drainage. The problem, one of long standing, was discussed at length. The City Manager expressed the opinion that if the City could get a lO-ft. easement through the property, a great deal of the trouble could be eliminated.
