He called attention <br />to the fact that other uti lity offices were open only five days a <br />week, and that the County was initiating Saturday closing August I. <br />He said it would apply only to the tax office, water-bil ling collect- <br />ion office, treasurer's office, secretary's office and administrative <br />off i ce. The San i tat i on Department, Pub I i c 'tiorks (street, park, ceme- <br />tery' etc.), Police, Fire and Utility (water and sewer) would contin- <br />ue on a 5i day week as at present. The matter was discussed. ill der- <br />man Ruiz moved that the offices be clused on Saturday s in accordance <br />with the City Manager's recommendation. Stokes requesting annexaticin of certain <br />lots in the Oak He i ghts Subd i vis i on was brought before the Counc i I. I <br />The petition is attached herewith as a part of the Minutes. The <br />location of the property was studied on the accompanying plat and <br />a city map to ascertain that it met the requirements for annexation. <br />Alderman Pool moved that the petition be formally received by the <br />Counci I.
