After discuss ion, it was agreed that the Traff i c <br />Commission should be asked to m~ke a study of the signal <br />lights. <br /> <br />On motion of Alderman Ruiz, ~nd seco~d of Alderman Pool, <br />the Council unanimously voted to receive a petition from <br />Mr. and Mrs. 0.8. Thomas to annex ~our lots and two acres <br />of land northeast of North Austin Street. <br /> <br />The ordinances regulating billiard tables which had been <br />d i str i buted for study were discussed. I t was suggested that <br />the fee for permit should be $25 for the first t~ble, $10 <br />each for the next three, and thereafter, the applicant would <br />have to prove need if applying for a permit for a fifth table. <br />The Mayor stated he did not think minors should be ruled out <br />of play. No act.ion was taken. <br /> <br />The Counc i I agreed to accept the apparent low bid for the <br />yea~s supply of chlorine, from Alamo Welding Supply Co., <br />San Anton i o. <br /> <br />The Council approved the Mayor's reappointment of Mrs. <br />Katherine Hardeman and J~M.
