The City is interested in <br />acquiring that part of Camp Gary consisting of the runways, flight <br />line and related faci lities. Mr. FulJer stated he had bee'l informed <br />by Mr. Cow.a.rt of GSAthe. Federal Av i. at i on AgencywouTd be. requested <br />to contact the City anlC! begin thepreparat i on of an app licat i on for <br />the transfer of. the remaining po~tion of the Camp Gary property not <br />used by OEO, to the City. <br />Returning to the City'~ participation in the operation of the Job <br />Corps Training Center, Mr. F~ller said it was the plan to transfer <br />the storm sewer system to the City at 100% discount; Health, Edu- <br />cation & Welfare wi II be asked to investigate the advisabi lity of <br />transferring the sewerage system, disposal plant and related faci 1- <br />ities to the City at 100% discount; and, the transfer of the water <br />system, including the 10" line from the City's pump station to <br />Camp Gary to the City at a 40% discount of the appraised value. <br />Mr. Ful IeI' said that the suggested plan is that the City, pending <br />transfer of the airport, be given perm i.tted use of the fire stat ion <br />and fire=fighting equipment. The fire-fighting equipment wi I I go <br />to OEO, and that agency wi II, in turn, transfer it to the City. <br />They would like to work with the City, Mr. Fuller said, in contract- <br />ing for general security patrol and fire-fighting, and, later, <br />when the students are in residence, garbage pick-up. Services <br />offered by the City would be water, sewer, fire protection and <br />security, Mr. Ful IeI' stated. AI I services performed for the Job <br />Corps Training Center wi I I be paid for.
