<br />This warrant is one in a series of fifty (50) warrants, <br />numbered consecutively from one (1) to fifty (50), both inclusive of the <br />denomination of ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS, $1,000.00) each, aggregating <br />Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) issued for the purpose of providing <br />funds for current expenses incurred during the current fiscal year of said <br />City of San Marcos, said fiscal year beginning on July 1, 1964, and <br />ending on June 30, 1965. <br /> <br />It is hereby certified, recited, and represented that all acts, <br />conditions and things necessary to be done precedent to and in the <br />issuance of this warrant have been properly done, have happened, and <br />been performed in reular and due time, form, and manner, as required <br />by law; that the faith and credit of said City are hereby irrevocably <br />pledged for the prompt payment of the principal and inter,est of this <br />warrant at maturity; that due provision has been made for levying and <br />collecting by taxation during the current year, a sufficient amount to <br />pay the principal and interest on this warrant at maturity; and the issue <br />of warrants, of which this is one, together with all other indebtedness <br />of said City, is within every debt and other limit prescribed by the <br />Constitution and Laws of the State of Texas. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Board of Aldermen of the City of <br />San Marcos, Texas, has caued the seal of said City to be hereto <br />affixed and this warrant to be Signed by the Mayor, countersigned by <br />the City Secretary, and registered by the City Treasurer. The date of <br />this warrant is the 1st day of February, A. That the principal and interest of each of said warrants <br />be paid out of the current revenues for the Fiscal Year, 1964- 65. <br /> <br />5. That all said warrants, or anyone or more thereof, be signed, <br />executed, sealed and delivered at any time, and from time to time, as <br />funds be required for the current operating expense of the City. <br /> <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this the 8th day of February,A.
