<br />WHEREAS, 1, the undersigned, femme sole, owner of 11 strip of land
<br />contiguo.us and adjacent to. the present boundary line of tHe City of San
<br />Marcos, said strip of land not exceeding one-haif(1/2) mile in, width, and
<br />further being vacant and witho.ut residents, in accordance with Sectio.n 974g
<br />VATS hereby petition the Governing Body of the City of San Marcos, Texas,
<br />to accept said strip of land within its corporate boundaries that it may receive
<br />all the benefits and privileges of being a part of the City of San MiJrcos,
<br />TexiJs; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as Exhibit
<br />"A", the said strip of land being more particularly described by metes and
<br />bounds as follo.ws:

<br />BEGINNING at a point in the City Limit Line which point
<br />is the Northwest corner of Lat 4, Block 4, Oak Heights
<br />Addition as recorded in Volume 164 , Page 586
<br />of tHe Deed Records of Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Southeasterly direction along a comman
<br />line along Lots 3 and 4, to the Southwest corner of said
<br />Lat 4; and,
<br />
<br />THENCE, in a Northeasterly direction along the common
<br />line between Lots 4 and 19, to. the Southeast corner of
<br />said Lo.t 4; and,
<br />

<br />THENCE, in a Northwesterly directian along the common
<br />line between Lots 4 and 5 of Block 4, to a point in the
<br />Sautheast line of Larue Drive, which point is the North-
<br />east corner of said Lot 4; and,
<br />
<br />THENCE, along the Southeast line af Larue Drive (City
<br />Limit Line) and the No.rthwest line af Lot 4, to the
<br />PLACE OF BEGINNING, containing all of Lot 4, Block
<br />4, Oak Heights Addition.
