<br />adjourned session, apri I 19, 1965, page two <br /> <br />It was agreed by common consent that the Following <br />persons be added to a list of elegible members and <br />alternates for the Board of Equal ization, in the <br />event thw first-named did not accept: W.R. Boucher, <br />J.H. Pollard, Joe Nicola and Willis Callihan. <br /> <br />The Mayor stated an alternate member was need For the <br />Board of Adjustment for the Planning and Zoning Commission. <br />Name~ suggested were Col. C.W. Ball, Frank Pennington and <br />J.P. Ellis. Alderman Pool moved that the persons suggest- I <br />ed be asked to serve, in thworder named above. Alderman <br />Froh seconded the motion and on rol I cal I, the fol lowing <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Froh, Pool, Tuttle, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried, with Col. Bal I <br />to be asked to serve as an alternate on the Board of <br />Adjustment; Mr. Pennington and Mr. Ellis be named <br />if the need arose. <br /> <br />H.Y. Price, jr., President of the San Marcos TelepDone <br />Company, fi led with the City Secretary the proposed <br />rates to be charged Gary Job Corps Training Center. <br />.Centrex Rates, Miscellaneous Tariffs., with covering <br />letter, is attached as apart of the Minutes. Under <br />terms of the franchise. the City Counci I's approval <br />is required; The City Manager explained that the rate <br />schedule does not aFfect City consumers at this time, <br />but it could affect schools that have the same switch- <br />board requirements as Gary.' Alderman Froh moved that I <br />the Counci I approve .Centrex Service" tariffs, as pre- <br />sented by Mr; Price. Alderman Whittenberg seconded the <br />motion, and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Froh, Pool, Tuttle. Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />It was agreed by common consent that the Counci I would <br />make a tour of the City's faci lities and projects on <br />Friday, Apri 130, starting From City Hall at I: 15 p.m. <br /> <br />A I derman Poo I introduced an Ord i nance annex i ng Lots 8 <br />thru 12, Oak Heights Addition ,the petition for annex- <br />ation having been submitted by Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Roche <br />and H.Garland Stokes on Apri I 12. Alderman Froh second- <br />ed the motion and on roll cal I, the following vote was <br />recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Froh, Pool, Tuttle, Whittenberg <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried and the Ordinance <br />Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />"0",'. <br />~.-, <br />
