Alderman Whittenberg moved that the soft ball field in City Park be named "Jaycee Field", in recognition of the interest shown by i~s members in CIVIC work. Alderman Pool moved that the petition be formally received. Alderman Whittenberg requested that in the Future, Counci Imen be Furnished with copies of petitions for annexation beFore meetings. Counci Imen were furnished with a copy of the Inspection Report of the Fi r.e Preventi on and Eng i neer i ng Bureau. The needs of the Fire Department were discussed, and it was agreed that some items could be included in the 1965-1966 budget.
