Dannelley Addition, owned by John J. Stokes, <br />\,as brought before the Counci I. A discussion of <br />prov i ding city ut i lit i es was he I d. Alderman Pool moved that the <br />petition be formally received. Alderman Froh seconded <br />the motion, ~nd on roll cal I, the fol lowing vote was <br />recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Froh, Pool, Tuttle, Whittenberg <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />Alderman Whittenberg requested that in the Future, <br />Counci Imen be Furnished with copies of petitions <br />for annexation beFore meetings. <br /> <br />Counci Imen were furnished with a copy of the Inspection <br />Report of the Fi r.e Preventi on and Eng i neer i ng Bureau. <br />The needs of the Fire Department were discussed, and it <br />was agreed that some items could be included in the <br />1965-1966 budget. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Pool introduced an Ordinance vacating and <br />c I os i ng certa i n streets .i n the Chautauqua Hill Project, <br />and authorizing conveyance of the land to the State of <br />Texas for use of Southwest Texas State Col lege, The <br />Ordinan~e, a copy of which is made a part of the Minutes, <br />was read and discussed.
