Capolyn Chand IeI', Tom Bucknep, Bi II Pennington The Mayor called the, meeting to ordep at 2:00 p.m. Mr. Serur administered the Oath of Office to Alderman Caesar A. Damon, elected May 18, 1965. I. Alderman Pool introduced two Resolutions and moved their approval. The Resolutions, attached as a part of the Minutes, authorized City Manager B.R. Ful IeI' to negotiate with the Department of Health, Education and Welfare in the acquisit- ion of sewer and water lines on the fish Hatchery property, declared surplus by General Services Administration. Alder- man Whittenberg seconded the mafion and on 1'01 I call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: Damon, Pool, Tutt Ie, Wh i ttenbepg NAY: None The Mayor declared the two Resolutions Passed and Approved. The Mayor introduced a Petition for Annexation signed by Mickey Pool. Location of the property was discussed. AJderman Whittenberg moved that the petition be formally received. Alderman Pool seconded the motion and on roll cal I, the fol lowing vote was recorded: AYE: Damon, Pool, Tuttle, Whittenberg NAY: None I The Mayor declared the motion pas~ed. The Mayor introduced a Petition for Annexation signed by Gai I Gafford. It was explained that Mr. Gafford bought the property and started a house, with the understanding that the property was scheduled to be annexed. The pro- posed subdivision did not materialize, and ~he Gafford property; s at present' not cont i guous to the City Li m its, a requirement of annexation.
