<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />'3 <br /> <br />STATE OF TEXAS I <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAYS I <br /> <br />HHEREAS, the undersigned owners of a strip of land contiguous <br />and adjacent to the present boundary line of the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, said strip of land not exceeding one-half (1/2) mile in width <br />and further having less than three residents, in accordance with Sec- <br />tion 974g of VATS, hereby petitions the Governing Body of the City <br />of San Marcos, Texas, to accept s,aid strip of land within its corporate <br />limits that it may receive all the benefits and privileges of being <br />a part of the City of San Marcos, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a map of the area is attached hereto and marked as <br />Exhibit "A", the said strip of land being more particularly described <br />by metes and bounds as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING AT A POINT, which point is the most Southerly corner <br />of Lot 12, Block 1, Revised Plat of Block 1, Oak Heights Addition, <br />as recorded in Vol. 168, p. 300, Hays County Deed Records, and a point <br />in the City Limit line; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, N 470 23' E 83.30 feet to a point; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, N 520 08' H 168.54 feet along the common line between <br />Lots 11 and 12, Block 1, said Oak Heights Addition, to a point in the <br />Southeast line of Franklin Drive; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, S 420 55' W 75.0 feet to the most Westerly corner of <br />Lot 12 and a point in the City Limit line; and, <br /> <br />THENCE, S 490 30' E 161.52 feet along the said City Limit line <br />and the Southwest line of Lot 12 to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. <br /> <br />This parcel contains all of Lot 12, Block 1, and is to be zoned <br />"R" single family residential. <br /> <br />cld~~ /:1- f;( {eJ2~ <br /> <br />J07G. CLARK, known to me to be the <br />persons whose names are subscribed to the foregoing instrument, and ac- <br />knowledged to me that they executed the same for the purposes and consid- <br />eration therein expressed; and the said MARLYS V. CLARK, wife of the said <br />JACK G. CLARK, having been examined by me privily and apart from her hus- <br />band and having the same by me fully explained to her, she, the said MARLYS <br />V.
