Avey <br />as an additional member. The Mayor complied, and added <br />the name of J.M. Sims, President of the Chamber of Commerce. <br /> <br />Alderman Whittenberg enquired whether there were a City <br />Ordinance prohibiting the riding of a bicycle on the <br />sidewalk. He stated there had been several complaints <br />by pedestrians recently, and that a woman had been knock- <br />ed down by a bicycle as she came out of a store Saturday. <br />The Mayor asked the City Secretary to check on the matter. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at <br /> <br />9 p. m .
