<br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />The Rev. Tommy Ruth Ball, Assembly of God Minister, gave the
<br />Invocation.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the January 10, 1966 meeting were approved
<br />as presented, on motion of Alderman Damon, and second of
<br />Alderman Tuttle.
<br />
<br />As the first order of business, the Mayor read aloud the
<br />following petition which carried a large number of signatures
<br />and had been previously received by the Counci I:

<br />"Gentlemen:
<br />" Since the access roads to Inter-Regional highway #35
<br />have been made one-way streets, those individuals occupy-
<br />ing homes or operating businesses fronting on these access
<br />roads from the Seguin highway west, have experienced extreme
<br />inconvenience in travel to or from their homes or places of
<br />business, since there is a distance of approximately two mi les
<br />between the Seguin highway and Redwood Road, the next avai lable
<br />through street. In addition, businesses located in this area
<br />have suffered substantial loss of trade due to the inconven-
<br />ience imposed on custoSmers in traveling to and from this
