I

I

I

'~1

WALLACE T, BARBER

DISTRICT ATTORNEY

SAN MA"COS,TEXAS

April 2,1966

The Honorable City Council
Gi ty ,0 f San Mar c 0 s
San Marcos, Texas

Dear Si rs:

As a direct result of my position as District Attorney of
the 22nd and 155th Judicial Districts of Texas, my secre-
tary and I quite often have to take between my office in
the courthouse in San Marcos and courthouses in the other
four counties of these districts office machinery,a rela-
tively heavy slide projector and screen, large Grand Jury
dockets, various other books, briefcases, etc. Consequent-
ly, it is extremely desirable that our two cars be parked
near the courthouse in San Marcos.

In view of the above and foregoing and by reason thereof,
I would like to make application for two annual permits
that will allow either of us to park on any meter (even
though the other two cities in these districts which have
parking meters have instructed us to park without any
"permits" and without "feeding the meters"). It is my
understanding that the present cost for such a permit is
$18.00 per year. Consequently, I am enclosing herewith
my office check in the amount of $36.00 for two such per-
mi ts.

Very truly yours,

rJU)JHJ&vt~

W. T.
