Dr. Pool, Mr. Froh, Mr. <br />Whittenberg and the Mayor signified they would attend. <br /> <br />The Mayor annou nce'd an execut i ve sess i on at the con- <br />clusion of business of the present session. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Froh brought before the Counci I .the need <br />for a Stop sign at the intersection of LBJ and Chestnut. <br />The City Manager was requested to check traffic at this <br />point. <br /> <br />The matter of reactivation of the Park Board was intro- <br />duced for discussion. The Mayor expressed the opinion <br />that it might be wise to wjit unti I after .the Charter <br />Election. Dr. Jean Smith, Chairman of the Recreation <br />Counci I, said the two boards should be combined into a <br />Park & Recreation Board, if a charter is written and <br />accepted. After discuss i on, it was agreed by common <br />consent that the appointment of a Park Board be tabled <br />unti I after the Charter Election. <br /> <br />Alderman Whittenberg moved that the City Barn be moved <br />out of the Park. A I derman Poo I seconded the mot ion. <br />The City Manager said he questioned whether the Barn <br />should be put at the D.isposal Plant. He. said he had <br />thought of moving it to a Jocation near the asphalt <br />tank, but it is in the Urban Renewal area. On Alde~- <br />man Korff's suggest ion, it was agreed by common con- <br />sent to leave it to the City Manager's dis&retion to <br />find a new location for the City Barn. <br /> <br />I <br />
