<br />Council Minutes, June 27, page four <br /> <br />Alderman Korff reminded the Council that something 1llust be <br />done about the dangerous railroad crossing on Bugg Lane. <br />The City Manager stated that T. K. Wood, District Engineer <br />for the Texas Highway Department, has said that the state <br />will pay 90% of the cost of traffic signals if the railroad <br />can be persuaded to pay the remaining 10%. Alderman Damon, <br />seconded by Alderman Pool, moved that the Council ask the <br />City Manager to propose an ordinance forcing the railroad <br />to pay the 10% allotted to it.
