Presgley, Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. <br />gave the Invocation.' <br /> <br />The Minutes of the Ju I y 25, 1966 meet i ng were unan i mous I y <br />approved as presented. on motion of Alderman Whittenberg and <br />second of Alderman Korff. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor read aloud a contract with Tax Attorney Ross Terry. <br />which had been discussed at the July 25 meeting, Alderman <br />Damon moved approval of the contract. Alderman Whittenberg <br />seconded the motion and on 1'01 r call. the folJowlrig vote Was <br />recorded: <br /> <br />AYE; <br />NAY; <br /> <br />Damon. Korff, Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The ~ayor declared the motion carried. The riontract IS <br />attached as a part of the Minutes. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />An updated Minimum Housing Code was introduced by the Mayor. <br />The City Manager explained that ~he City had been operating <br />under the 1963 Sriuthern Bui Iding ~ode for Minimum Housing <br />regulations. The 1966 Workable Program would require that <br />the City adopt the 1965 Code. Mr. Wolff said there were <br />few changes. and none that would affect the City adversely. <br />The Mayor read the Code aloud. After discussion, Alderman <br />Pool moved adoption of the Minimum Housing Code. 1965 Edition. <br />Alderman Damon seconded the motion and on roll cal I. the fo//ow- <br />ing vote Was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY; <br /> <br />Damon. Korff. Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Code Passed. Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced B. W. K J otz,. of Lockwood; Andrews if Newnam, <br />and explained that Mr. Klotz' firm had been sele&ted as <br />Consulting Erigineers for the City. Mr. Klotz read aloud a <br />
