TEXAS 78666 <br /> <br />Tuberculosis ~eport <br />From Jan. 196 through Oct. 1966 <br /> <br />21 New Cases reported to State Health Department <br />219 cases in TB Register. <br />73 active cases <br />27 in San Antonio State TB Hospital <br />3 in Veterans Hospitals <br />1 in Fitzsimmons Hospital <br />1 in Austin TB Hospital <br /> <br />32 are being treated in Out patient Clinic in San Antonio State <br />TB Hospital. <br />9 treated at home by physicians and the health department. <br />146 inactive cases <br />49 are receiving medication from health department furnished by <br />the state. <br /> <br />AT X-ray Mobile Survey, 785 people x-rayed (Sept. 26th), 200 were <br />contacts to known cases of tuberculosis. <br /> <br />AT X-ray Mobile. Survey, (Oct. 26th) 120 school children x-rayed <br />who had positive skin tests and/or where contacts to known cases <br />of tuberculosis. <br /> <br />2,560 skin tests have been given <br />1,433 have been given in the health department <br />The rest have been given in the city and county schools. <br />
