Klotz~ June Davis, Raymond Foster, Galen Wel Inicki, Jerri Veidt The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Sam Junkin, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, gave the Invocation. The Minutes of the October 24, 1966 meet i rig were approved as presented, on motion of Alderman Froh and second of AJderman Korff. I Raymond Foster, Fixed Base Operator at Municipal Airport, appeared before the Counci I. He proposed that the City give him a 20~year lease on Airport facilities, with 2 %of the gross receipts going to the City. He stated he wished to make improvements, and could not get a loan without a long-term lease. Alderman Pool said business had picked up tremendously since Mr. Foster had taken over as Fixed Base Operator. Dr. Pool moved that the City give Raymond Foster a 20-year lease. Alderman Damon seconded the motion. The operation of the Air- port was thoroughly discussed. Alderman Whittenberg asked Mr. Foster ifhe would be willing to pay the. utilities, in additinn to the 2%, and he said~nYes.n Alderman Korff asked about I i ab i I. i ty insurance . Mr. Foster sa i dhe carr i ed the insurance, as part of his written contract with the City. On roll ca II, the fo II o.w i.ng vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whjttenberg None The Mayor declared the motion carried. I A petition for annexation of Lot 91,Park Addition, was received from the owners, Mr. & Mrs. W.C. Hdward. The plat accompanying the petition was studied. Alderman Froh moved that the petition be acdepted. Alderman Poolieconded the motion and on rol I cal I, the following vote wai re60rded: AYE: NAY: Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg None The Mayor declared the motion carried.
