Klotz~ June Davis, <br />Raymond Foster, Galen Wel Inicki, Jerri Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Rev. Sam Junkin, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, <br />gave the Invocation. <br /> <br />The Minutes of the October 24, 1966 meet i rig were approved <br />as presented, on motion of Alderman Froh and second of <br />AJderman Korff. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Raymond Foster, Fixed Base Operator at Municipal Airport, <br />appeared before the Counci I. He proposed that the City give <br />him a 20~year lease on Airport facilities, with 2 %of the <br />gross receipts going to the City. He stated he wished to <br />make improvements, and could not get a loan without a long-term <br />lease. Alderman Pool said business had picked up tremendously <br />since Mr. Foster had taken over as Fixed Base Operator. Dr. Pool <br />moved that the City give Raymond Foster a 20-year lease. <br />Alderman Damon seconded the motion. The operation of the Air- <br />port was thoroughly discussed. Alderman Whittenberg asked <br />Mr. Foster ifhe would be willing to pay the. utilities, in <br />additinn to the 2%, and he said~nYes.n Alderman Korff asked <br />about I i ab i I. i ty insurance . Mr. Foster sa i dhe carr i ed the <br />insurance, as part of his written contract with the City. <br />On roll ca II, the fo II o.w i.ng vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whjttenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />A petition for annexation of Lot 91,Park Addition, was <br />received from the owners, Mr. & Mrs. W.C. Hdward. The plat <br />accompanying the petition was studied. Alderman Froh moved <br />that the petition be acdepted. Alderman Poolieconded the <br />motion and on rol I cal I, the following vote wai re60rded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Korff, Pool, Whittenberg <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br />
