<br />regu I ar meet i ng, november 7, 1966 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced the need for a glue-sniffing <br />ordinance, reminding Counci I members that this was <br />the second time he had brought up the matter. He <br />said Sgt. Hawkins had cal led him to the Police <br />Station the previous Saturday afternoon to observe <br />a young boy under the effects of glue-sniffing. The <br />matter was discussed at length. I t was agreed that <br />an ord i nance cou I d be prepared for cons i.derat i on at <br />a later date. The City Manager suggested writing <br />the City of San Antonio to enquire what success they <br />had experienced with their glue-sniffing ordinance. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Alderman Pool announced there would be a "Fly_in" to <br />Municipal Airport, Sunday, Nov. 20. He suggested <br />that a formal dedication of the Airport by planned <br />at that time. I t was agreed by common consent that <br />a program should be arranged, with a list of invited <br />guests, headed by the Governor.
