Counci I with a report on <br />the amount of money the City of San Marcos has con- <br />tributed toward the Chautauqua Hi II Project, through <br />its Cooperat i o,n Agreement. Th is was bus i ness tab I ed <br />from the Nov. 7 meeting, at which time a statement <br />of money owing the Urban Renewal Agency was received <br />and discussed. After further discussion, and motion <br />of Mr. Korff and common consent of the Counci I, it <br />was agreed that the City Manager and Mr. Brown <br />should work together and bring to the next Counci I <br />meeting, a ful I report and "concrete evidence" of <br />the City's financial status with the Urban Renewal <br />Agen<?y. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The City Manager reported that the City's Workable <br />Program had been re-certified by Housing and Urban <br />Development. Mr. Wolff reported onhis investi~ <br />gation of how the glue-sniffing ordinance had work- <br />ed in San Antonio. The Mayorreadaload letters <br />received by the Chief Juveni Ie Officer and the City <br />Attorney of San Antonio. It was agreed by common <br />consent that the City Attorney should draw up an <br />ordinance dealing with glue-sniffing, for considerat- <br />ion of the Counci I. The City Manager read aloud a <br />recommendation from Chief W.A. Dial, reference estab- <br />I ishing parking on one side of the street, only, on <br />Blanco, Endicott and Scott. The matter was discussed. <br />Alderman Pool moved that theChief's recommendation <br />be accepted. He sa i dthe full reportwou I d <br />be Xeroxed and sent to the Counc i I men. .The City Man- <br />ager said he had a report pending from another firm, <br />after wh i ch the Counc i I c.ou I d study the matter further. <br /> <br />Mr..Wolff said he had. had time to check the bids on the <br />two po lice Cars submitted by Allen Motor Co. and Jack <br />Hughes Ford Co. He.. recommended to theCounc i I that <br />both bids be rejected, and new bid~ calJed for. Chief <br />Dial discussed specifications for police carswit.h the <br />Counci I.
