Brown; Albert <br />Holguin; Bradley Moody; Mrs. Jerri Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor cal led the meeting to order at 7:00p.m. <br /> <br />Counci Imen signed "Consent to Meeting". <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor read aloud a petition for .annexation of Lots 1,2,3 of <br />Block 2, Forest Hi II Addition, signed by owners Tom Hami Iton <br />.and wife, Paul.a G. Hami Iton; .and W.H. Hami Iton, jr. and wife, <br />Eva Mae Hami Iton. A plat of the property was examined. Alder- <br />man Damon moved acceptance of the petition. Alderman Froh <br />seconded the motion and on rol leal I, the fol lowing vote WaS <br />recorded; <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Po~1 <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The City Manager recommended that the low bid of Scrutchin- <br />Cauthorn Motor Company on two police cars, be accepted. Sealed <br />bids were opened.at the December 12 meeting. A1derman Pool <br />moved that the low bid, as offered by Scrutchin-Cauthorn Motor <br />Company, be accepted. Alderman Froh seconded the motion and <br />on ro I I ca II the fo II owi ng vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Damon, Froh, Pool <br />None <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor stated the meeting had been cal led to hear a report <br />from Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam. He cal led on B.W. Klotz, who <br />introduced Ralph S. Ellifrit as the firm's Planner assigned <br />to work with San Marcos. Mr. Klotz said Mr. Ellifrit had <br />thirty ye.ars' experience as a Planner, and had been Planner <br />for the City of Houston for twenty years. "Mr. Ellifrit <br />thinks like an engineer - he is practical and realistic", <br />he said of his colleague. <br />
