AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADJOIN1NG THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INTO SAID CITY I WHEREAS, the owners of a strip of land, said strip of land not exceeding one-half (t) mi Ie in width, being contiguous and adjacent to the present residents, qualified to vote for members of the State Legislature, have petitioned the City of San Marcos to annex said strip of land within the municipal limits, a copy of said petition being hereto attached, marked "Exhibit A", and made a part hereof for al I pertinent purposes; and, WHEREAS, it wi II be of signal advantage to the City of San Marcos to annex said strip of land within its munic- ipal limits: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Counci I of the. City of San Marcos, Texas, that the said strip of land, hereinafter described by lot and addition, be and the same hereby is received as a part of the City of San Marcos, and the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos are hereby extended so as to include said strip of land, and from hence- forth the territory so received and annexed shal I be a part of the City of San Marcos, and shal I be bound by the acts and ordinances of said City, In accordance with law. SAID STRIP OF LAND is described as: I Lots I, 2 & 3 of Block 2, Forest Hill Addition to the City of San Marcos, according to a plat of said addition of record in Volume 51, Page 23, Hays County Deed Records. This parcel of land is to be zoned "R", single fami Iy, residential.
