<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to P.L. 89-117 the United States of <br /> <br />America has authorized the making of grants to public <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />bodies to aid in financing the construction of basic <br /> <br />water and sewer projects: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Counci I of <br /> <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />I. That W.E. Wolff be and he IS hereby authorized to <br /> <br />execute and fi Ie an application on behalf of the <br /> <br />City Counci I of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br /> <br />with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, <br /> <br />United States Government, for a grant in aid in <br /> <br />financing the construction of Improvements and Exten- <br /> <br />slons to the Water Supply and Distribution System and <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Waste Water Collection System of the City of San Marcos, <br /> <br />and an assurance of compl iance with the Department of <br /> <br />Housing and Urban Development regulations under Title VI <br /> <br />of the Civi I Rights Act of 1964. <br /> <br />2. That W.E. Wolff, City Manager of the City of San Marcos, <br /> <br />Texas, be and is hereby authorized and directed to furnish <br /> <br />such information as the Department of Housing and Urban <br /> <br />Development may reasonably request in connection with the <br /> <br />appl ication which is herein authorized to be fi led. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED th i s 9th day of January, A.
