73 ORDINANCE 1981-42 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AMENDING SECTIONS 18-7 AND 18-8 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS TO INCREASE FEES FOR USE OF PARK AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; TO ESTABLISH A REQUIREMENT FOR A DEPOSIT FOR USE OF CERTAIN CITY FACILITIES; TO INCREASE THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT FOR USE OF CERTAIN FACILITIES; REPEALING SECTION 18-9 OF SAID CODE AND ESTABLISH- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That section 18-7 of the Code of Ordinances, City of San Marcos, Texas, is hereby amended to read as follows: Sec. 18-7. Fees for use of park and recreational facilities. (1) The following schedule of fees and charges for the use of parks and recreatin facilities shall be in effect: (a) Charles S. Cock Home: First hour Each additional hour Maximum Fee Deposit $ 7.50 5.00 50.00 25.00 50.00 Gazebo (b) Recreation Center in City Park First hour Each additional hour r,1ax imum Fee $ 7.50 5.00 50.00 Deposit 50.00 (c) Softball fields: Tournament Fee (two day tournament) 25.00 For tournament which includes Friday night- additional fee 15.00 (d) Swimming pool admission .50 Lessons: 8.00 per session Training sessions: For swimming teams a ten dollars ($10.00) per week fee shall be collected in advance. Fee entitles team to use pool five (5) days per week when pool is not open for public use or swimming classes. Pool parties (use of the pool after regular pool hours - 8:00 p.m. -11:00 p.m.)
