Upper Guadalupe has been in this catagory. Your agency in the last few months has worked with the Gas Company, the City of San Marcos on water and sanitary sewers, and the electric and tele- phone companies, to coordinate the changes and alterations on these utilities on upper Guadalupe and other streets. Working out all these matters has been no small job. The plans of the College at the high-rise dormitory include multiple improvements next to and near the curb in the subject area. Moving the curb on that side of Guadalupe involves new meetings with the College and their architect and will involve change-orders with their contractor. We cannot furnish cost estimates to you in regard to such preparation matters as the utility adjustments and ad- justments to College construction. The following tabulation will assist you and the City in completing cost estimate for the street. The construction costs shown are based upon prices now in effect with your contractor, Austin Paving Company, on the Chautauqua Hill Project. A.
