garbage collection units warrants ordinance NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ISSUE TIME WARRANTS BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS Notice is hereby given by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, to issue TIME WARRANTS for the pur- pose of financing the purchase of the following described equipment, I (a) Two (2) eighteen cubic yard rear-loading refuse collecting bodies mounted on 1967 Chevrolet trucks. (b) Two (2) 1967 police cars. (c) One (1) used tractor-loader. Such warrants shall be in the total amount of $26,938.86, such sum to bear interest at the rate of 4~% per annum, to be payable on or before 5 years from date thereof, and shall be issued on or before the 13th day of February, 1967, unless prior to said date ten percent of the qualified voters of the City of San Marcos, whose names appear on the last ap- proved tax rolls as property taxpayers, petition the City Council in writing to submit to a referendum vote the question as to the issuance of said warrants for such purposes. Worrell City Secretary I WHEREAS, it further appears and the City Council affir- matively so finds and declares that no protest or other objection has been filed with or presented to the City Secretary, or the Mayor, or the City Council, by ten percent in number of the qualified voters in said City, whose names appear in the last approved tax rolls as property tax payers, or by any other number of the qualified voters of said City, requesting a referendum vote, or otherwise protesting, or objecting to, the issuance of said interest bearing time warrants in payment for said garbage collection units; and, WHEREAS, the pak-Mor Manufacturing Company, San Antonio, Texas, has submitted the lowest bid, namely $16,349.00, for two garbage collection units meeting the specifications set forth in the above notice; THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas: That the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, does hereby authorize the Mayor and City Secretary to accept from said Pak-Mor Manufacturing Company of San Antonio, the two garbage collection units described in said Company's bid, namely, A, Garbage Body l.
