<br />garbage collection units warrants ordinance <br /> <br />The date of this warrant conformity with the above- <br />mentioned ordinance is the 15th day of March, 1967, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />IT IS HEREBY CERTIFIED AND RECITED that all acts, con- <br />ditions and things required to be done precedent to, and in <br />the issuance of this warrant and this series of warrants, has <br />been properly done, has ahppened and been performed in regular <br />and due time, form and manner as required by law; and that the <br />total indebtedness of said City, including this warrant and <br />the entire series of which it is a part, does not exceed any <br />constitutional statutory limitations; that a sufficient tax <br />to pay the principal of and the interest on this warrant, and <br />the series of which it is a part, has been levied for said <br />purposes and will be annually levied, assessed and collected <br />while said warrants, or any of them, are outstanding. <br /> <br />IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the City Council of the City of <br />San Marcos, has caused the seal of said city to be affixed <br />hereto and this warrant to be signed by the Mayor and counter- <br />signed by the City Secretary, and the interest coupons hereto <br />attached to be executed by the signatures of said officials, <br />as of the 15th day of March, 1967, and registered by the <br />City Treasurer. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />COUNTERSIGNED: <br /> <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />Registered this the l5th day of March, 1967. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />City Treasurer <br /> <br />That the interest coupons to be attached to each of <br />said warrants shall be in the following form: <br /> <br />NO. 1 <br /> <br />$146.93 <br /> <br />On the l5th day of March, 1968, the City of San Marcos, <br />Texas, will pay to bearer, at The State Bank & Trust Company <br />of San Marcos, in San Marcos, Texas, the sum of $146.93, being <br />twleve months interest due upon that date by City of San Marcos <br />Warrant No.1, dated the 15th day of March, 1968. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that to pay the interest on said <br />warrants and create a sinking fund with which to pay the principal <br />thereof as it matures, a tax at a rate sufficient for such <br />purpose is hereby levied against all taxable property in said <br />City for the year 1967, and for each succeeding year in which <br />said warrants, or any of them, are outstanding. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that there shall be calculated <br />each year while any of said warrants is outstanding and unpaid, <br />that rate of tax which is necessary to provide current interest <br />and the required amount of principal to be paid from the taxes <br />of that year, and a tax at such rate on each $100.00 valuation <br />of taxable property in said City, within the limits permitted <br /> <br />f7~~ <br />
