<br />The Mayor cal.led the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
<br />
<br />The Minutes of the March 13, 1967 meeti ng were approved as
<br />presented, on motion of Alderman Pool, and second of Alderman
<br />Damon.

<br />The Mayor recogn i zed Warren Freud i ger, Execut i ve Director of
<br />the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos. Mr. Freudiger
<br />referred to letters delivered earlier ~o members of the Council,
<br />regarding selection of a site for additional housing ~nits, and
<br />asked if there were any questions. Letters to the Counci I from
<br />Mr. Freudiger and the local Housing Authority Board are attached
<br />and made a part of the Minutes. Mr. Freudiger said: "All we
<br />need at this time is something I can transmit to the Regionel
<br />Office - my instructions are to stand pat until further instruct-
<br />ions from the City Council". Alderman Whittenberg read aloud
<br />the three points on which the Housing Assistance Administration
<br />Fort Worth Regional Office had requested clarification:
<br />
<br />"I. A Resolution or some formal expression of the
<br />City Council's wishes as to whether they are
<br />for or against additional Public Housing in
<br />San Marcos.
