<br />AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY
<br />ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INTO SAID CITY
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the owners of three tracts of land at the end of
<br />SchulJe Drive desire to have said tracts annexed to the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said tracts are not contiguous to the City Limits
<br />of said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Schul Ie Drive abuts on a 20-ft. easement owned by
<br />the City of San Marcos which connects with the City Limits
<br />of the City of San Marcos; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it wi II be of signal advantage to the City of
<br />San Marcos to annex said strip of land, a portion of
<br />Schul Ie Drive, a road in Hays County, Texas, within its
<br />municipal limits:

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Counci I of
<br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, that said strip of land,
<br />a portion of Schul Ie Drive, hereinafter described by
<br />metes and bounds, be, and the same hereby is, received
<br />as part of the City of San Marcos, and the corporate
<br />I imits of the City of San Marcos are hereby extended so
<br />as to include said strip of land, and from henceforth the
<br />territory so received and annexed shal I be a part of the
<br />City of San Marcos, and shall be bound by the acts and
<br />ordinances of said City, in accordance with law.

<br />Said strip of land is described as:

<br />BEGINNING at a concrete monument, said point being
<br />the southeast corner of the Festervan tract found
<br />in Vol. 188, page 261, Hays County Deed Records,
<br />said point also lying on the existing City Limits
<br />line of the City of San Marcos;
<br />THENCE N 4S032'W 154.0 ft. to the NE Corner of the
<br />Festervan tract to a concrete monument, continuing
<br />a distance of SO.O ft. to a point on the south line
<br />of the Doss property;
<br />THENCE, N440SI'E, 30 ft. to the SE corner of the
<br />Doss tract, designated by a copper pIpe In a rock
<br />for the corner;
<br />THENCE, N4S"32'W 335.2 ft. to the NE corner of
<br />the Doss tracts;
<br />THENCE N44"51'E, 20 ft. to the NE corner of a tract
<br />of land conveyed to the City of San Marcos, Volume
<br />197, page 14, Hays County Deed Records;
<br />THENCE, S45032'E, 539.2 ft. along the west line of
<br />the tract belonging to the City of San Marcos, to
<br />a poil]t;
<br />THENCE, S44051'W, 50.0 ft. to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
