Sandberg I The Mayor cal led the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. William B. Sandberg, Associate Pastor of First Metho- dist Church, gave the Invocation. The. Minutes of the March 27, 1967 meet i ng were approved as presented, on motion of Dr. Pool and second of Mr. Whittenberg. The City Secretary administered the Oath of Office to Counci Iwoman Dr. Emmie Craddock, and Counci Imen Ellis Serur, Dr. Wi I liam C. Pool and Luciano H. Flores. Dr. Craddock offered the following motion: "In accordance with the provisions contained in Section 12.09 of the San Marcos Charter, I m: ove that Mr. F lores be ass i gned Place 7 on the basis of his having received the largest number Df votes in the recent Counci I election; that Mr. Serur be assigned Place 6; Miss Craddock, PLace 5; Mr. Pool, Place 4; and that the City Secretary provide immediately for the draw- of Places 1,2 & 3 by Mr. Damon, Mr. Korff and Mr. Whittenberg". I M~; Damon seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Oamon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, Serur, Whittenberg None The Mayor declared the motion carried. The remaining th~ee Councilmen drew for place, with the following result: Mark H. Whittenberg, Place I; Caesar A. Damon, Place 2; and Herman Korff, Place 3. (, Rf;
