Mr. Damon seconded the motion and on 1'01 I cal I the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Serur, Whittenberg Pool I The Mayor declared the motion carried. Mr. Damon suggested that the City Manager check with the Texas Municipal League for comparative charges for use of ballfields in. city parks. The City Manager asked that a replacement for Mr. Froh be named on the Land Committee. The Mayor appointed Mr. Flores. Mr. Wolff discussed with the Counci I the deplorable con- dition of the City's equipment. He said no progress could be made on paving unti I the worn-out equipment is replaced. He also asked that an assessment p'an be studied as a sound way of financing the street improvement program. Long-term financing of the purchase of equipment was discussed. The Mayor asked the Mqyor Pro Tem to take the chair. Mr. Serur moved that the City Manager be authorized to ask for bids on a used loader and truck chassis. Mr. Damon seconded the motion and on 1'01 I cal I, the fol lowing votes were recorded: I AYE: Damon, Craddock, Flores, Korff, Pool, Serur, Whittenberg NAY: None The Mayor Pro Tem declared the motion carried. The City Manager discussed the urgent need of a pump to use on the new water well. Mr. Damon moved that the City Manager be authorized to advertise for bids on a water pump.
