<br />AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY
<br />ADJOINING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, INTO SAID CITY
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, the owners of a strip of land, said strip not
<br />exceeding one-half (4) mile in width, being contiguous
<br />and adjacent to the present residents, qual ified to vote
<br />for members of the State Legislature, have petitioned the
<br />City of San Marcos to annex said strip of land within the
<br />municipal limits, a copy of said petition being hereto
<br />attached, marked "Exhibit A", and made a part hereof for
<br />al I pertinent purposes; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, it wi II be of signal advantage to the City of
<br />San Marcos to annex said strip of land within its municipal
<br />1 i mits:
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Counci I of the
<br />City of San Marcos, Texas, that the said strip of land,
<br />hereinafter described by metes and bounds, be and the same
<br />hereby is received as a part of the City of San Marcos; and
<br />the corporate limits of the City of San Marcos are hereby
<br />extended so as to include said strip of land, and from hence-
<br />forth the territory so received and annexed shal I be a part
<br />of the City of San Marcos, and shal I be bound by the acts and
<br />ordinances of said City, in accordance with law.

<br />SAID STRIP OF LAND is described as:

<br />0.55 acre of land out of the T.J. Chambers League
<br />in Hays County, Texas, and being part of that certain
<br />0.93 acre tract conveyed to Marvin A. Wiemers by deed
<br />recorded in Vo I. 179, page 479, Hays County Deed Records;
<br />described by metes and bounds as fol lows:
<br />BEGINNING at an iron pipe found at the most northerly
<br />corner of said 0.93 acre tract;
<br />THENCE, with the northwest line of said 0.93 acre tract,
<br />S46030'W 183.89 ft. to the old corner post at the most
<br />westerly corner of this tract;
<br />THENCE, with the southwest line of said 0.93 acre tract,
<br />also the northeast line of Lyndon B. Johnson Drive,
<br />S48029'E 140 ft. to an iron pin set for the most southerly
<br />corner of this tract;
<br />THENCE, N46035'E 162.78 ft. to an iron pipe set for the
<br />most easterly corner of this tract;
<br />THENCE, with the northeast line of said 0.93 acre tract,
<br />N39050'W 140 ft. to the place of BEGINNING.

<br />This parcel is to be zoned uRu, single family residential.
<br />
