Paul Geig~r,Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, gave the <br />I nvocat i on. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Minutes of May 15 and May 19, 1967, were approved as pre- <br />sented, on motion of Dr. Po?l, and second of Dr. Craddock. <br /> <br />Two bids on purchase of the Fredericksburg Street property were <br />opened by the Mayor. H.Y. Price Enterprises, Inc. entered a bid <br />for $5,311; C.E. O'Bryant bid $1,800. Dr. Pool moved that the <br />high bid of $5,311 be ac~epted by the Counci I. Mr. Damon second- <br />ed the motion and on 1'01 I cal I, the fol lowing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Craddock, Damon, Flores, Pool, Serur <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />Specifications for a new signal light system were considered by <br />the Counci I. Costs were estimated at $24,400 for the corner post <br />type .of si gna I light; $33,600 for a mast arm type. The City Mana- <br />ger asked the Council to make adec is i On,on the type of system <br />desired, so invitation to bid co~ld be,publislie~. The matter was <br />thoroughly,~iscussed. Mr. Damon moved that the City advertise for <br />bids on the mast a~m type of system.
