Dial The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:3g p.m. The Minutes of the meetings of June 15,16 and 17, 1967 were approved as presented, on motion of Mr. Damon, and second of Mr. Flores. The Mayor introduced and read a 10Lid a Reso I ut i on accept i ng, with regret, the resignation of City Manager Wi II iam E. Wolff. Mr. Damon moved that the Resolution be approved. Mr. Whittenberg seconded the m~tion, which passed unanimously. The Mayor present- ed a copy of the Resolution to Mr. Wolff, with a personal express- ion of his appreciation for his service, and regret at his leaving. " Counci Iman Damon moved that City Secretary Dorothy O. Worrell be appointed Acting City Manager for the interim period unti I a new City Manager is employed. Mr. Whittenberg seconded the motion, with an~.~endment that Mrs. Worrell be granted a $100 increase In sa I ary for each month she serves in that capac'ity. Mr. Damon accepted the amendment, and the fol lowing vote was recorded: AYE: Damon, Flores, Serur, ~hittenberg NAY: None The Mayor declared the motion carried. The Mayor introduced an ordinance abandoning an alleyway and authorizing excharige of property with H.Y. Price Enterprises, Inc. The Ordinarice was read in ful I and made a part of the Minutes. Caption isas follows: AN ORDINANCE DECLARING VACATED, ABA~DONED ANb CLOSED A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND OUT OF BLOCK NO.2, J.S. TRAVIS ADDITION, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS; AUTHDRIZlNG THE EXCHANGE BY AND BETWEEN THE CITy OF SAN MARCOS AND THE H.Y. PR I CE ENTERPRISES, INC., OF SAID PORTION OF LAND FOR ANOTHER PORTION OF LAND OUT DF SAID BLOCK, SUCH EXCHANGE OF LAND TO INVOLVE NO ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION OTHER THAN SUCH TRACTS THEMSELVES; TO BECONSUMATED AT EARLIEST PRACTI- CABLE DATE, AND TO PROVIDE THAT THE TRACT CONVEYED TO THE C!TY SHA LL REVERT TO. THE GRANTOR I F USED FOR ANY OTH ER PURPOSE THAN AN ALLEYWAY.
