TEXAS 78888

October 30, 1967

Mr. Richard Bean
City Manager
City of San Marcos
San Marcos, Texas 78666

Dear Mr. Bean:

Re: Property across from Bus Station

For the past five (5) years or so, I have been leasing the big
lot directly across from the bus station here in San Marcos to the
City for parking purposes at a monthly rental of $35.00.

I

Due to the ever increasing cost of living, and based upon recent
property tax evaluations, it is no longer practical for me to continue
on the above mentioned basis. Therefore, commencing on December
1, I shall have to increase the rental to $80.00 per month, but with
this increase I will include the small lot contiguous to the big one,
which is situated between Dr. Cook's Clinic and the comer Service
Station. Of course, just as in the past I will expect the City to
maintain both lots insofar as cleanliness and grass cutting is concerned.

If for any reason the City is unable to see its way clear to
this new agreement please advise. Your silence will indicate that
the new terms are acceptable to you and I will expect a rental of
$80.00 per month for the two (2) lots together commencing December
1. 1967.

Very truly yours,

F. W. ZIMMERMAN

FWZ/agm

I
