The
architecture is most handsome, and wo~ld enhance the beauty and
value of this great approach to our City.

It appears practical to orient the structures L1 this fashion
only if facilities of ingress and egress from Ranch Road 12 to the
church property are available. Therefore, St. John's Parish re-
spectfully presents the following request to the City Council.

TO DEDICATE TWO STREETS, FOR ENTRANCE AND EXIT,
FROM RANCH ROAD 12 TO THE CHURCH PROPERTY, THE
DETAILS OF ACTUAL POSITION, PROPORTIONS, ETC.,
TO BE LEFT TO THE DISCRETION OF THE CITY
ENGINEER, WORKING IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
CHURCH ARCHITECTS.

If this arrangement is not possible, the other alternative
is to orlant the complex toward River Side Drive. This is a very
narrow residential street. Traffic approaching and leaving the
church \'i~uld pose a serious hazard both for the residents of the
area and for worshippers. Furthermo~e, the architectural per-
fection of the complex would be hidden away and go unnoticed by
visitors to San Marcos.

st. John's Parish is willing to bear the cost of construction
of these streets. It will also landscape and maintain the garden
areas between and around the streets, in accordance to City
specifications.

With every good wish for continued success in your efforts
on behalf of our Fair City.

?">.JO~at~Olijj~a~ .A
~ V~.U"~,C:}?f.?-
Rev.
