Fritts by deed <br />dated July 3, 1944, and recorded in Volume 130, Page <br />263, Hays County Deed Records; <br /> <br />THENCE, Leaving the said Lot 8, with the Northwest <br />line of the said McClanahan 12.59 acre tract, the follow- <br />ing courses numbered (1) and (2): <br />(1) N 440 32' E, 454.63 feet to a concrete <br />monument; <br />(2) N 32° 36' E, 273.21 feet to an iron stake <br />at the North corner of the said McClanahan 12.59 <br />acre tract, for a North corner of the tract herein <br />described; <br /> <br />THENCE, S 490 04' E, 786.17 feet to a concrete monument <br />at the East corner of the said McClanahan 12.59 acre <br />tract, for the most Easterly corner of the tract herein <br />described, same being on a Northwest line of the afore- <br />mentioned existing City Limits; <br /> <br />THENCE, with the Northwest line of the said existing <br />City Limits, the following courses numbered (3) and (4): <br />(3) S 450 52' W, 777.3 feet to an iron stake at <br />the South corner of the said McClanahan 12.59 <br />acre tract, the East corner of the aforementioned <br />Lot 8 of the said Shadrach Partition; <br />(4) leaving the said McClanahan 12.59 acre tract, <br />S 450 46' W, 1316.55 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING <br />containing 66 acres of land, more or less; <br /> <br />be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br />
