That there were other municipally owned properties <br />. with less esthetic value that could be released <br />should the City ~decide that it holds too much <br />land for park and recreational purposes. <br />That with park improvements developed by the <br />proposed Urban R EJlewal Plans as well as the <br />implementation of the C. M. Allen Parkway, <br />our community would benefit from the many <br />dollars being spent by the State of Texas to attract <br />tourist to our area. <br /> <br />6. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, the Board of Commissioners of the Urban Renewal <br />Agency of the City of San Marcos unanimously and respectfully <br />recommends to the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, <br />that Farm Lot No. 25, also known as the Nelson River Property, ,: <br />be reseIVed for the development of park and recreational purposes <br />for public use. <br /> <br />ITB/mc <br /> <br /> <br />x.c.
