Dannelley <br />Luciano H. Flores <br />William C . Pool, Ph.D. <br />Hollis W. Smith <br />Jerry Zavesky <br /> <br />City Manager <br />City Secretary <br /> <br />RichardG. Bean <br />Dorothy O. Worrell <br /> <br />Visitors: <br /> <br />The Rev. C. Eugene Jennings, Reuben Meeks, <br />Frank Pennington, W.W. Cox, Jim T. Brown, <br />Reggie Smith, Bill Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. <br />C. Eugene Jennings, Rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, <br />gave the Invocation.. <br /> <br />The Minutes of. the October 28, 1968 ~eeting were approved as <br />presented, o.n motion of Dr. Pool and second of Mr. Smith. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance a~ending the plumbing code, <br />and an ordinance pertaining to rat~s and poli~ies for water usage. <br />The City Manager explained that both were required in order that <br />the Federal Government might purchase the City's revenue bonds. <br />Caption of the first, which was read in full and is attached as <br />a part of the Minutes, is as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE PLUMBING CODE FOR THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BY DELHI NG THE PRESENT <br />SUBSECTION 10. ~F SECTION 602. OF CHAPTER 6 OF SAID <br />CODE, AND SUBSTITUTING AN ENTIRELY NEW SUBSECTION <br />UNDER THE SAME NUMBER; AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock moved that the Ordinance be p~ssedas an emergency. <br />Mr. Dannelley seconded the motion and on roll call the following <br />vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Craddock, Dannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, S~ith, <br />NAY: None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved and Adopted. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Caption of the second Ordinance, which was read in full and is <br />atta~hed as apart of the Minutes, is as fDllows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER USE CHARGES; REQUIREMENT <br />OF SEPARATE CONNECTION AND METER FOR ALL PREMISES; PRO- <br />VIDING FOR NO USE OF WATER OR CONNECTION TO WATER SYSTEM <br />FREE OF CHARGE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS <br />IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING A SAFETY CLAUSE: AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />
