<br />7:00 a.m. Nov. 8, 1968 <br /> <br />/5f <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.AMBULANCE COVERAGE PROPOSAL <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />SAN MARCOS AND HAYS COUNTY <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION: To be furnished by the hospital. <br /> <br />STAFF: <br /> <br />1. 8.4 employees on a 40-hour week at $1.60 per hour. This <br />is regular staff of two full-time employees to cover the <br />primary vehicle. Annual cost is approximately $28,500.00 <br />plus FICA and fringe benefits. The fringe benefits will <br />be paid by the hospital. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />2. Back-up vehicle could be covered by regular hospital em- <br />ployees who can be on stand-by call and paid their regular <br />rate plus time and a'half f9r the actual time worked. <br /> <br />3. Collection procedures would be handled by the hospital. <br /> <br />EQUIPMENT: <br /> <br />1. A new ambulance to be maintained in top condition, this <br />vehicle to be not over two years old. It should be <br />equipped for all emergency work and have a carrying <br />capacity of four stretchers. <br /> <br />2. For stand-by and transfer an older ambulance or station <br />wagon, properly equipped for all emergency coverage. <br /> <br />3. A separate communication center to be installed at the <br />hospital both .for communication between the office and <br />vehicles and between the office and those on stand-by <br />call. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />.1' /7 ,I G I?
