november 25, 1968

page three

/&1

Mr. Dannelley said a Game Warden had reported that com-
plaints had been received claiming that persons were
entering the grounds of the City Dump, and climbing the
fence into adjacent property to hunt. Mr. Flores moved
that an opinion be sought from the City Attorney on res-
trictions that may be placed on City-owned property.
Mr. Dannelley seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.

I

The Mayor said he had had a complaint from the Fire Depart-
ment that persons following the fire trucks were dangerously!
impeding the work of firemen. Mr. Serur said he would like
to recommend that the Chief of Police direct patrolmen to
give tickets to persons following fire trucks, and that a
notice be put in the paper. Dr. Craddock moved that pub-
licity be given to the hazard of following fire trucks, and
getting in the way of firemen at the site of a fire.
Mr. Zavesky seconded the motion, which passed by common
consent.

The City Manager brought before the Council a written request
from Mr. Frank Sharp that he be furnished City water service,
outside the City limits, at regular in-City rates, from the
water line that will service the new Waste Water Treatment
Plant. The letter is attached and made a part of the Minutes.
Mr. Sharp had previously made this request to the Council, in
person, and had been informed that the Council could not rule
against its own policy, to accomodate one person.
Mr. Dannelley moved that Mr. Sharp's request be denied.
Mr. Flores seconded the motion and on roll call, the following
vote was recorded:

I

AYE:
NAY:

Craddock, Dannelley, Flores, Pool, Serur, Smith, Zavesky
None

The Mayor declared the motion carried.

The meeting adjourned

~k~~~~

~' ~
o

Cc{....t.,;L.r1J{1..----

at 8:45 p.m.

~~d.7
/);;/~ ,//~---~~
~~-"(
Ellis Serur, May.or _ ~

1Ji.e~JQ-'7f ~~

William C. pol, Ph.D.
Counc'lman

---/

Emmie Craddock, Ph.D.
Councilwoman

~92 (i;;)~L~flaL

R':;nald J.
