He stressed <br />that members of Bridgebuilders were aware that this year's <br />budget did not incaude this program, but it could be <br />started with a minimum of financing. The Mayor appointed <br />Dr. Pool to work with the City Manager to make cost esti- <br />mates and report back to the Council. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced an ordinance annexing the north side <br />of Holland Street. The Ordinance, which was read in full, <br />is attachSd as a part of the Minutes. Dr. Craddock moved <br />that the ~rdinance Annexing the North Side of Holland <br />Street be adopted on one reading, as an emergency. Dr. Pool <br />seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote <br />was recorded: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY; <br /> <br />Craddock, Dannelley, Pool, Serur, Smith, Zavesky <br />None <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the Ordinan~e Passed, Approved and <br />Adopted. <br /> <br />The Mayor read a petition trom the American Lutheran <br />Church requesting ahnexation of property on Hilland Street. <br />A letter from the President of the Congregation of the <br />Church stated the City would be given the necessary ease- <br />ment for widening Holland Street. Dr. Pool moved favor- <br />able action on the petition. Mr. Smith seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />An ordinance annexing 1.499 acres of land on Lamar Street <br />was introduced for second reading. Mr. Soii th suggested the Chambe,rmf Commerce <br />Traffic Committee be brought i~to study the KlapprothReport. <br />The Mayor asked Mr. Smith and Mr. Oannelley 0 serve with <br />him, for ~he City, and asked .the City Manage to arrange for <br />a meeting with the Chamber of Commerce Traff c Committee. to <br />study the KlapprothReport. <br />
