1 REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 13, 1969 Present: Mayor Ellis Serur Councilmen: Emmie Craddock, Ph.D. William C. Folts and Mrs. Folts, Mrs. Courtney D. Marshall, Jerri Veidt, Charlotte Crisp, Willard Thorp, Everett Johnson, Jim Brown The Mayor called the meeting to 6rcler at 7:30 p.m. The Rev. James E. Folts, rector of St. Mark's Church, gave the Invocation. Minutes of the December 18, 1968 meeting were approv~d as presented; on motion of Mr. Zaveskyand second of Dr. Pool. I The Mayor introduced an Ordinance authorizing publication of notice of public hearing on proposed annexation of a portion of Westover Addition. Dr. Craddock moved adoption of the Ordinance as an emergency measure. Dr. Pool seconded the motion and on roll call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Craddock,Seruri Pool, Smith, Zavesky None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Passed, Approved arid Adopted. The Mayor introduced an Ordinance annexing 1.499 acres of land out of the. Thomas J.Chambers Survey. Dr. Craddock moved its adoption om first reading. Mr'. 'Zavesk)i seconded the motion and on roll. call, the following vote was recorded: AYE: NAY: Craddock.. Serur, Pool, Smith, Zavesky None The Mayor declared th.e Ordinance Approved on first reading. I The Mayor introduced an Ordina.nceannexing 1.40 acres of land out of the Thomas J. Chambers Survey. Dr. Pool moved its adoption on first reading. Mr. Smith seconded the motion and on roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Craddock,Serur, Pool, Smith, Zavesky NAY: None The Mayor declared the Ordinance Approved on first reading.
