This would include replacing old <br />street signs, as well as installing new signs at intersections not presently marked. <br />The plan was approved by the Commission, with the suggestion that this program be <br />carried out in its entirety. <br /> <br />A general discussion was held concerning San Marcos' traffic problems. The Commis- <br />sion recommends to the City Council that they petition the State Highway Depart- <br />ment to widen Ranch Road 12, from Smith Avenue to the Westover Road, into a four <br />lane highway to accomodate the flow of traffic, especially trucks leaving the City. <br /> <br />I BJH/vw <br />Enclosures <br /> <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />
