~,.../' I A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING THE DISCLOSURE BY LAURA L. RAMSAY, CHAIRMAN, AND DR. ROBERT W. WALTS, COMMISSIONER, OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, OF OWNERSHIP OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN PROPOSED URBAN RENEWAL AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AND FINDING NO VIOLATION OF THE PUBLIC INTEREST IN SAID REGARD WHEREAS, a full disclosure has been made by Laura L. Ramsay, Chairman, and Dr. Robert W. Walts, Commissioner, of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos concerning their ownership for many years of property now planned to be included within an Urban Renewal Project area within the City of San Marcos; and, WHEREAS, said ownership was not a voluntary acquisition of property or in any way influenced by the location of said Urban Renewal Project areai now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C!TY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I 1. The disclosure by laura L. Ramsay, Chairman, and Dr. Robert W. Walts, Commissioner, of the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of San Marcos, of ownership of certain land located within proposed Neighborhood Development Program Area A within the City of San Marcos is hereby acknowledged and is entered upon the Minutes of this Council. 2. The Council hereby finds upon examination of the facts concerning the case, including the long ownership by both indivduals of the property in question, that no conflict of interest or violation of the public interest is involved in said ownership, in that said ownership did not affect or influence in any way the boundaries of the project area.
