<br />I- <br />I <br /> <br />regular meeting, july 28, 1969 <br /> <br />page four <br /> <br />AYE: <br />NAY: <br /> <br />Craddock, Contrer~s, Serur, Dannelley, Smith, Zavesky <br />Flores <br /> <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor read aloud a letter received that day from <br />Mrs. A.K. Krause. see attached. Mr. Flores moved that <br />Mrs. Krause be paid $129.62 for the cow presumably lost <br />under the same circumstances as Mr. Hughson's 27 cattle. <br />Dr. Craddock seconded the motion and on roll call, the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> AY E: Craddock, Contreras, Dannelley, Serur, Flores, <br /> Smith, Zavesky <br /> NAY: None <br />The Mayor declared the motion carried. <br /> <br />The Mayor read aloue a letter from Ernest Morgan, requesting <br />that the J.D. Cummings property on the San Marcos River be <br />excluded from the Neighborhood Development Program, in order <br />that it might be developed as a privately-financed recreation <br />park. The letter is attached as a part of the Minutes. <br />Since boundaries of the Neighborhood Development Program had <br />been set, and the land use as planned, approved at the Public <br />Hearing and Meeting, July 22, 1969, it was agreed by common <br />consent that the matter was closed, and the request would have <br />to be denied. <br /> <br />Dr. Craddock asked that she be ~eplaced ~n the Comm~nity Action <br />Steering Committee, since she had been unable to attend I <br />meetings. Councilman Contreras agreed to represent the Council' <br />on the Committee. Cou'ncilman Oannelley and 'Councilman Zavesky <br />indicated that they had not been able to attend the monthly <br />meetings, and suggested that perhaps other persons should be <br />appointed to represent the Council on the Steering Committee. <br />Mr. Bean agreed to find out how many representatives the City <br />is entitled to on the Committee. <br /> <br />Mr. Flores asked the City Manager to request a progress report <br />from LCRA on installation of street lights as requested by the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> <br />The Council adjourned at 10:20 p.m. <br />"---::;:-" /1 <br />-;,/ ! <br />'(;7", " ~</L;/,' #i:' - ,"-~;?4z i', 4,~," ", ~, / <br />,?-- ~/t-y "'r~-_/~ '-'"'.-- ~ <br /> <br />/~ @~~iS Serur, Mayor ~ ~ <br />(E..i.
