AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO CONTRACI FOR PLANNING SERVICES T~e contract For Planning Services entered into on the lOth day of March, 1%0, by and between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Freese and Nichols, Inc. is hereby amended as set forth hereinunder. The said Contract is attached as Exhibit I. l. Paragraph 2, Character and Extent of Services, as shown in tile original agreement (Exhibit I) shall be modified as set forth herein as foltows: a. Phase I of Section 2A and schedule of Phase I tasks, labeled Exhibit A and included in the Contract, shall be amended to include: 1) 27 additional hours and 5 additional trips in the accom- plishment of task 5 of Phase I, aiding the staff in the development of the scope of the Master Plan, schedule, task assignment, and Phase II, scope of services. 2) 21 additional hours and 3 additional trips in the accom- plishment of tasks 1, 2 and 3 of Phase I, the de.velopment and approval of an interim subdivision and zoning ordinance. 3) A further breakdown of items l) and 2) above is included as Exhibit II. b. Section 2B of said Contract, titled Subsequent Phase, shall be amended to include the services to be performed in Phase II, as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on June 3, 1980, and detailed in the Phase II Schedule of Tasks, Exhibit III. Such services shall include: 1) Additional work in getting Phase II scheduled and approved. 2) Developing and holding the first phase of citizen parti- cipation workshops and meetings. 3) Complete the final revisions of the Interim Subdivision and Zoning Ordinances and attend meetings of the various boards in the approval process. 4) Finish development of the land use and housing strategy, and technical advice during the performance of the land use and housing survey by the staff. 5) Finish the development of the format of the traffic and right-of-way study and technical advice during the performance of the traffic and right-of-way survey by the staff. 6) Preparation of the Phase III schedule, and attendance at meetings requi~red to approve the schedule, making modi- fications as necessary.
