48 <br /> <br />AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO CONTRACT FOR PLANNING SERVICES <br /> <br /> The contracl~ for Planning Services entered into on the 10th day of March, <br />1980, by and between the City of San Marcos, Texas, and Freese and Nichols, Inc. <br />and as amended by Amendment No. 1 for Phase II dated June 23, 1980, is hereby <br />amended as set forth hereinunder for Phase III. The said Contract and Anlend- <br />ment No. 1 are attached as Exhibit I. <br /> <br />Section 2 of said Contract, .entitled CHARACTER AND EXTENT OF CONSULTANT <br />SERVICES shall be changed as follows: <br /> <br />Section 2.B., "SUBSEQUENT ?HASE", .shall be amended to include <br />the services detailed in the "SCOPE OF WORK FOR PHASE III", Exhibit <br />II, as approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on December <br />16, 1980. Such services to be performed in Phase III are generally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />The preparation, administration, and analysis of a citizen <br />input questionnaire to be distributed to a representative <br />sample of the population of the City. <br /> <br />The preparation of the draft Master Plan with scope as out- <br />lined in Exhibit II for review by City staff, the Master <br />Plan Committee, the Planning and Zoning Commission, the <br />City Council, and the general public. <br /> <br />Meetings as listed in Exhibit II with Master Plan element <br />liaisons, City staff, tile Master Plan Committee, the Master <br />Plan Executive Committee, the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />and the City Council during the development and review of <br />the draft Master Plan. <br /> <br />(4) The coordination of work to be done by City staff as part <br /> of the Master Plan. <br /> <br />B. Work To Be Accomplished By City Staff <br /> <br />To enable the Consultant to accomplish the above described work <br />in Phase III, the City staff as a part of the development of the <br />draft Master Plan, shall develop or make available to the Consultant <br />in a timely manner the following: <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />All available existing plans, research data, and other <br />information pertinent to the preparation of the Master <br />Plan. <br /> <br />The preparation of one color coded "Existing Land Use" <br />map at a scale of 1"=500' for use by the Consultant. <br /> <br /> <br />
