(3) Other oral and written input to the compoSition of the <br /> Master Plan elements under the editorial control of the <br /> Consultant and within the Consultant's stated Scope of <br /> Work and schedule. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />The City staff has primary responsibility for the research <br />for the "Community Facilities and Services" element and the <br />"Funding Sources" element and the preparation of written <br />drafts for those elements. <br /> <br />The Coordination oF meetings set at mutually agreed upon times <br />with element liaisons; tile scheduling and advertising of Master <br />Plan Executive Committee, Ma'ster Plan Committee, Planning and <br />Zoning Commission, City Cou6cil meetings and public hearings; <br />and attendance and participation at those meetings and hearings. <br /> <br />C. Time of Completion and Expansion of Scope of Work <br /> <br />The Phase III work will be completed within 210 calendar days <br />(7 months) of receipt of the notice to proceed. Any circumstances <br />outside the control of the Consultant which unavoidably delay the <br />completion of Phase III within this time frame shall be reported <br />to the City Manager or his agent as soon as possible. The Consultant <br />will review the scope of work included for each chapter of the draft <br />Master Plan document with the Master Plan Executive Committee and <br />receive their concurrence prior to initiating the work on that <br />chapter. If in the consultant's opinion the Scope of Work has <br />been expanded by the direction of City staff, the Master Plan Com- <br />mittee or Executive Conlmittee, the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />or the City Council, the Consultant shall notify the City Manager <br />as soon as possible and shall provide an estimate of the compensation <br />adjustments and time extensions necessary to complete the expanded <br />Scope of Work. No such additional work shall be performed until. <br />after the Contract is amended as provided for in Paragraph 4.C: o.f <br />the original Contract. <br /> <br />Section 3, COMPENSATION TO THE CONSULTANT, shall be amended such that <br /> <br />Ao <br /> <br />Paragraph 3.C., "Subsequent Phases", shall have added to it the <br />following: <br /> <br />Compensation for consulting services as described in <br />Anlendment II to be per-FOrmed as Phase III shall be in <br />tile amount oF sixLy thousand, nine hundred eighty-one <br />dol'lars ($60,9~1.00). <br /> <br />Paragraph 3.D., "Time of Compensation", shall have added to it <br />the fol lowing: <br /> <br />The Consultant's compensation less ten percent will be <br />due for each chapter of the draft Master Plan document <br />upon that chapter's approval by the Master Plan Executive <br />Committee. <br /> <br />The final ten percent will be due upon approval of the <br />draft Master Plan document by the City Council. <br /> <br /> <br />
