a) A location map (USGS quad map); <br />b) Typical sections; and <br />c) Photos. <br />1.4.15 Process a Categorical Exclusion document, including: <br />a) The preparation of seven (7) copies of the preliminary draft of the CE, unbound, for <br />submittal to the City and the TxDOT Austin District. <br />b) Revise the preliminary draft CE based on District comments and resubmit twelve (12) <br />copies of the draft CE. <br />1.4.16 As part of this Task, the Engineer assumes that: <br />a) A Categorical Exclusion will be applicable to the proposed improvements; and <br />b) A Complete noise analysis will be necessary for the proposed Project. <br />1.5 TASK 5 -BIDDING AND CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION <br />The Construction phase of this Project will commence with the award of the construction <br />contract and will terminate when the Project is accepted by the City. The Engineer will <br />administer the bidding and construction phase of the Project in accordance with City standards. <br />The Engineer will: <br />Bidding <br />1.5.1 Assist the City in the preparation of construction contract documents using City forms <br />based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments authorized by <br />the City in the scope, quality or budget of the Project. These contract documents will include <br />detailed plans and technical specifications required for the Project to be accurately bid and <br />efficiently constructed. <br />1.5.2 Prepare and provide the bid document in digital format to the City. <br />1.5.3 Use its best professional judgment to create technical documents that comply with <br />applicable construction and development codes, local regulations and ordinances and other <br />federal and state regulations which are known or which should reasonably be known to the <br />Engineer including those required under the ADA and Article 9102, V.A.C.S., Architectural <br />Barriers Act. The Engineer will be responsible for the submission of all plans and specifications <br />for the construction of this Project to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for <br />review and approval prior to the time construction is set to begin in conformance with the <br />Architectural Barriers Act. The costs associated with the submission of plans for review under <br />the Architectural Barriers Act will be paid by the City. <br />19 <br />
